Jim Mageean & Graeme Knights
The final Guest spot of 2011 saw Jim and Graeme performing a variety of songs from a rich reservoir.
The two singers are mostly known in association with the late, great Johnny Collins who sadly passed away in July. Like Johnny, Jim and Graeme specialise in unaccompanied chorus songs. Sea Shanties, Work Songs, Union Songs, Mining Songs, Drinking Songs and songs from the trenches. Anything to get the audience to join in.
Jim and Graeme have been performing together for some time, most notably at the Whitby Folk Festival where they run the Shanty session at the Endeavour.
